CIRCUS: SCULPTURE WORKSHOP

Service Description

Step right up and enter the wonderfully imaginative world of Alexander Calder’s Circus! Young artists will look at Calder’s playful wire circus performers and explore how he used line, balance, movement, and simple materials to bring his tiny characters to life. Each child will design and build their own whimsical Calder-inspired circus sculpture using wire, fabric, cork, wood, and found materials. The finished sculptures can be wonderfully imperfect, expressive, and full of personality—just like Calder’s magical little circus performers.
